But what happens once your insurance is secured?

Recognising the long-term nature of these projects and sometimes complex requirements to meet insurance providers’ conditions, London Belgravia Brokers offers clients full support beyond product sale, something unique in the market. Sharing a CRM system with the Insurance Consultants, Client Services takes over and carries on from the point of sale, which is where the service from other brokers and direct insurers often ends abruptly.

This comprehensive administrative and technical support across the project lifespan helps developers to streamline, navigate and manage risk at every stage of project delivery, from design through to build, sale, and even future transfer of ownership.

Our dedicated Client Services Team bridges the service gap, acting on the client’s behalf to work with insurers, surveyors and even buyers addressing queries, and providing necessary clarifications. This includes essential support such as organising site surveys, offering technical advice, sourcing documentation, mediating conflicts, managing building warranty signoffs, and administering policies.

Meeting client needs with exceptional service

Often handling 80-100 client calls and over 400 emails daily, London Belgravia’s Client Services Team’s daily activities lighten the load for our valued clients.

This support includes:

  • Organisation of site surveys
  • We offer to process the initial site survey schedule and assist with ongoing scheduling issues throughout a project’s build period.

  • Technical advice
  • Throughout each project’s build period, we offer impartial technical advice to clients to help them satisfy any technical conditions or remediations set out by the survey team acting on behalf of the insurance provider.

  • Sourcing of documentation
  • Throughout the build period, in order to satisfy the conditions set out by the provider of the insurance policy, we will assist with and organise the sourcing of any technical documentation required including, but not limited to:
    – Technical manuals
    – Initial certificates
    – Codes of conduct
    – Remote site audit questionnaires
    – Conditional policy letters
    – Interim certificates
    – We can also assist with the satisfactory completion of such documentation where appropriate.

  • Mediation and conflict resolution
  • If, at any point throughout the build period and site survey process, the client is not satisfied or disagrees with the remediation conditions set out by the site survey team acting on behalf of the insurance provider, we offer mediation and conflict resolution services between the client and the survey team.
    We can also offer technical and non-technical advice and mediate with the survey team on the client’s behalf in order to resolve any conflicts of opinion relating to remediation conditions.

  • Technical services
  • Throughout the planning and build period, we are able to offer, organise, or assist in the organisation of a wide range of technical and industry services to the client to satisfy either initial conditions or remediation conditions set out by the insurance provider or site survey teams acting on behalf of the insurance provider.

  • Organisation of building warranty signoff
  • At the end of the build period, we will organise and supply all required certification to the client and assist with resolving any issues relating to finalising the building warranty policy.

  • Life-of-policy administration services
  • Throughout the life of the purchased policy (10 years), we offer administration services to the client, including, but not limited to, reissuance of certificates, change of contact details and transfer of ownership.
    We will also be on hand for any homeowners who require advice related to their 10-year warranty product and will assist with initialising any claims or issues as appropriate.
