Senior Wholesale Insurance Broker

Based in City of London
£45,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)

London Belgravia Brokers are a London based specialist risk Insurance Broker providing Latent Defect Insurance to the UK property sector. We have a requirement for a wholesale insurance broker to help us develop our wholesale insurance business.

Within this role, you will be tasked with identifying brokers operating in this sector, setting up meetings and presenting to them. You will hold responsibility for the performance of each broker account including the placing of each enquiry.

You will have previous experience in both broker development and broking in the construction insurance sector. A strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Broker panel development
  • Enquiry placement
  • Issuing of broker quote presentations
  • Training and support of the retail broker where required to improve conversion

Skills required:

  • Experience of working as wholesale insurance broker – essential
  • Experience working with construction risks, – desirable
  • Cert CII – preferred or working towards
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills

Broker Support Administrator

Based in Central London

We are looking to recruit a broker Support Administrator with a strong work ethic. The role consists of aiding one of our Broking Desks in all administration duties, this is an entry level role so you are probably a recent graduate. We are a specialist provider of niche high value insurance services to the UK Property sector. Key responsibilities will include:

    • Providing support to the brokers with customer enquiries and issues
    • Contacting clients and insurance companies via telephone and written communication
    • Sending emails to clients on behalf of the broker team
    • Sending proposals out to insurers and then collating quotes
    • Creating documents and letters to send to clients
    • Data Input, maintenance and alteration of data
    • Invoicing clients
    • Assisting the operations manager ensuring we are compliant with the financial conduct authority requirements
    • Ensuring all customer files are up to date
    • Customer service and follow up calls with clients

Skills Required
Essential

      • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular, Word & Excel
      • Ability to undertake training and become competent in the use of other platforms including CRM
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills
      • Good organisational skills, including ability to prioritise workload
      • Good typing and word processing skills
      • Good standard of written and verbal communication
      • Proven ability to work under pressure

The London Belgravia Group are looking to recruit an Assistant to work across our marketing & operations teams and to assistant the Directors with administration support.
We are a specialist provider of niche high value insurance to the UK Real Estate sector.

The role consists of running our social media channels day to day, so it’s essential that you have excellent communication skills and knowledge of content marketing, digital marketing, and all major social media platforms.

We are looking for someone to show initiative, develop new social media campaigns, manage our brands’ online community, and create great content consistently. In addition you will support the Directors with organisational and administration duties

Duties:

    • Source and produce engaging content to ensure the website and social media channels are up to date, relevant and interesting.
    • Generate graphics and images using design software (Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop etc)
    • Compile regular social media reports
    • To act as one of the key points of contact for social media queries, developing a response process
    • Update the Careers area of the corporate website in consultation with the Head of HR in relation to current recruitment campaigns and events.
    • Support with the management of employee social media accounts
    • Assist in planning diary and administration support for the CEO.
