London Belgravia Brokers are looking to recruit a team of Business Development Managers.

We are a specialist risk insurance broker based in the City of London providing niche high value insurance and surveying services to the property / construction sector.

We have a team in London and one in Manchester we now want to build a team of regionally based business developers utilising local networks to build our brand.

You will ideally have experience of providing solutions to the construction / property sector.

The role consists of business development providing clients with exemplary levels of customer service

You will receive all the support you need to allow you to focus on the business development role with Architects, surveyors, lawyers etc.

We provide all the sales and regulatory training needed.

Requirements

  • Three years’ sales experience ideally in the property / construction sector
  • Driving license, you will be required to travel the country extensively to visit clients
  • You will need to be an enthusiastic and ambitious individual looking to develop a successful career at an organisation that is leading the way in their sector

About us

We are based in central London and work with a wide variety of clients throughout the UK.

We are experts in negotiating and placing structural warranties (latent defects insurance) for residential and prime residential properties. We have placed cover ranging from small self-builds up to major new build and renovation developments comprised of hundreds of units.

We have helped some of the most prolific property developers in the UK, providing expert advice and the highest quality service. We have strong relationships with insurers specializing in latent defects insurance and aim to provide significant savings for all of our clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00 to £60,000.00 /year

Building Surveyor

London Belgravia Surveyors are part of the London Belgravia Group of companies, we are a firm of surveyors that offer a turnkey service for Property Developers and House Builders.

We provide specialist teams to help manage and monitor our client’s construction projects to ensure the right standards are met for warranty providers, lenders, investors and end clients.

Our key clients include major residential & commercial property developers along with some of the best contractors in the UK.

The Role

  • You will be joining an extremely ambitious team and will be given the opportunity to help grow as part of a highly successful business.
  • Your role will include reviewing technical audit documents, visiting client sites and compiling reports to ensure we are meeting the highest standards when monitoring building works.
  • We are a young and flexible business, and your enthusiasm, opinions and input will help the firm develop. You will have the opportunity to join the management team over time.

Key Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline
  • Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery
  • MRICS or similar professional membership
  • You will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering service excellence, with good commercial results.
  • Ability to successfully manage complex projects and assignments in a proactive and diligent manner
  • Excellent report writing skills and ability to provide first class advice to clients
  • Good professional skills, to be developed to an appropriate level as part of the role
  • Excellent specification writing skills and detailed understanding of JCT Contracts
  • Able to build long-term relationships
  • A team player, outgoing, friendly, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
  • Full driving licence

Trainee Broker

Based in London or Manchester
Salary £20-£25k – OTE £45K

An opportunity has arisen to join our team for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual looking to develop a successful career at an organisation that is leading the way in their sector.

The role consists of business development in the UK Property sector providing clients with exemplary levels of customer service. If successful not only will you achieve financial success you will be a team leader within 24 months. We provide all the training needed including professional training to meet the regulatory requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority.

Broker Support Administrator

Based in Central London

London Belgravia Brokers are looking to recruit a broker Support Administrator with a strong work ethic. The role consists of aiding one of our Broking Desks in all administration duties, this is an entry level role so you are probably a recent graduate. We are a specialist provider of niche high value insurance services to the UK Property sector. Key responsibilities will include:

    • Providing support to the brokers with customer enquiries and issues
    • Contacting clients and insurance companies via telephone and written communication
    • Sending emails to clients on behalf of the broker team
    • Sending proposals out to insurers and then collating quotes
    • Creating documents and letters to send to clients
    • Data Input, maintenance and alteration of data
    • Invoicing clients
    • Assisting the operations manager ensuring we are compliant with the financial conduct authority requirements
    • Ensuring all customer files are up to date
    • Customer service and follow up calls with clients

Skills Required
Essential

      • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular, Word & Excel
      • Ability to undertake training and become competent in the use of other platforms including CRM
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills
      • Good organisational skills, including ability to prioritise workload
      • Good typing and word processing skills
      • Good standard of written and verbal communication
      • Proven ability to work under pressure
