Broker Support Administrator

Based in Central London – for immediate start

Due to significant company growth at London Belgravia Brokers we are looking to hire 1x Broker Support Administrator to expand our Broker Support Team. Our support team is a tight knit, friendly team of 7, with lots of support and room for career progression for the right person. London Belgravia Brokersa are specialist providers of niche high value insurance services to the UK Property sector. This is a chance for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual, looking to start / develop a successful career in insurance, to join our team.

The role consists of aiding on of our Broking Desks in all administration and customer service duties. All training will be provided however we are looking for individuals with a can-do attitude and are eager to hit the ground running.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to the brokers with customer enquiries and issues
  • Contacting clients and insurance companies via telephone and written communication
  • Sending emails to clients on behalf of the broker team
  • Sending proposals out to insurers and then collating quotes
  • Creating documents and letters to send to clients
  • Data Input, maintenance and alteration of data
  • Invoicing clients
  • Assisting the operations manager ensuring we are compliant with the financial conduct authority requirements
  • Ensuring all customer files are up to date
  • Customer service and follow up calls with clients
  •  

Skills Required – Essential

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular, Word & Excel
  • Ability to undertake training and become competent in the use of other platforms including CRM
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter, we are looking for someone who is able to use initiative
  • Good organisational skills, including ability to prioritise workload
  • Good typing and word processing skills
  • Good standard of written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with Acturis or Zoho software is desirable but not essential

Account Executive - Small Projects Team

Due to significant company growth and a surge in enquiries for clients looking to insure construction projects with a build cost under £500,000.00, London Belgravia Brokers are looking to hire Account Executives to join our Small Projects Team. 

London Belgravia Brokers are a specialist provider of niche high value insurance services to the UK Property sector. This is a change for enthusiastic and ambitious individuals, looking to develop a successful career in insurance, to join our team.

The role consists of providing clients with specialist property insurance advice and cover. Our Account Executives enjoy liaising with clients, providing advice, placing insurance for clients and delivering exemplary customer service whist doing so. You will need to be comfortable and professional whilst communicating with clients / insurers via email and on the telephone. To succeed, you will have good organisation skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to communicate effectively with builders, property developers, insurers and other associated bodied.

We will provide all the training needed including professional training to meet the regulatory requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the flow of incoming enquiries assigned to you by the Head of Broking.
  • Correspond with clients via phone and email to gather all information required to quote.
  • Liaise with the broker support team and underwriters to attain insurance quotes.
  • Advise clients on quotes obtained, offer advice and guidance on next steps in placing policies.
  • Be the point of contact for all client queries.
  • Send all documentation to client, ensuring all quote information has been relayed to clients and that they meet criteria set by the FCA
  • Collect payment and place insurances on the client’s behalf.
  • Effectively hand placed policies/clients over to the broker support team for any post-sale customer care.

  • Some knowledge or experience in (property or construction) insurance desirable but not essential. All training will be provided.

Account Executive / Broker - Construction Insurance Team

London Belgravia Brokers is looking for an experienced Account Executive/Broker to join our growing construction insurance team. Ideal candidates will have experience in placing Construction All Risks, Liabilities and PI in the UK for both developers and contractors and be looking for the opportunity to run and be responsible for their own book of business.

Role:

LBB are a specialist construction insurance broker based in the City of London. Primarily known for our expertise in long-tail policies, our customer demands lead us to establishing a general construction team in September 2020.

Successful applicants will have responsibility for:

  • Management of your own book of clients
  • Handling internal referrals from other business units
  • Forecasting
  • Maintaining strong relationships with Clients and Markets
  • Business development
