Debt Advisor

Based in City of London
Up to £25,000 with £45,000 (OTE, year one)

We are looking for finance professionals with a minimum of 12 months experience in mortgage broking to join our rapidly growing debt advisory team. As a department of the well regarded London Belgravia Brokers, our debt team benefit from access to the entire UK property development market via our insurance division.

*Typically, the candidates we are searching for having enjoyed the early part of their career in mortgage broking but are looking for a faster-paced, more dynamic, progressive and rewarding role*

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your existing experience as a mortgage broker and broaden the scope of your advice and reach – Notably offering advice on a range of development finance products to some of the UK’s most well recognised property developers.

For the right individuals, support and guidance will be provided so that you can grow and fine-tune your expertise and develop into a specialist debt advisor.

The role itself will be focused on stimulating new business and introducing the London Belgravia debt offering to property developers.

Our junior advisors will be responsible for:

  • Uncovering opportunities to assist developers structure and re-structuring their finance on forthcoming and existing projects.
  •  Handling ‘incoming’ enquiries passed to them from other areas of the business.
  • Meeting and exceeding objectives and targets
  • Representing the London Belgravia brand appropriately and always delivering a high quality service to our clients and lenders.
  • Attending relevant industry events.
  • Having a strong interest in property and financial markets.

Trainee Broker

Based in London or Manchester
Salary £20-£25k – OTE £45K

We are looking to recruit a trainee insurance broker with a strong work ethic. We are a specialist provider of niche high value insurance services to the UK Property sector. An opportunity has arisen to join our team for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual looking to develop a successful career at an organisation that is leading the way in their sector.

The role consists of business development in the UK Property sector providing clients with exemplary levels of customer service. If successful not only will you achieve financial success you will be a team leader within 24 months. We provide all the training needed including professional training to meet the regulatory requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority.

The role consists of providing clients with specialist property insurance cover, our Brokers enjoy taking responsibility for themselves and aren’t afraid to seize ownership. You will need to meet targets and enjoy the requisite benefits of doing so. You will be motivated, hungry for success and a thirst to learn. You will need to have a strong work ethic, enjoy working as part of a team, and have the ability to liaise and sell to property developers and other associated bodies like architects, project managers and lawyers through regular communication and great interpersonal skills.

Broker Support Administrator

Based in Central London

We are looking to recruit a broker Support Administrator with a strong work ethic. The role consists of aiding one of our Broking Desks in all administration duties, this is an entry level role so you are probably a recent graduate. We are a specialist provider of niche high value insurance services to the UK Property sector. An opportunity has arisen to join our team for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual looking to develop a successful career at an organisation that is leading the way in their sector.

Key responsibilities will include:

    • Providing support to the brokers with customer enquiries and issues
    • Contacting clients and insurance companies via telephone and written communication
    • Sending emails to clients on behalf of the broker team
    • Sending proposals out to insurers and then collating quotes
    • Creating documents and letters to send to clients
    • Data Input, maintenance and alteration of data
    • Invoicing clients
    • Assisting the operations manager ensuring we are compliant with the financial conduct authority requirements
    • Ensuring all customer files are up to date
    • Customer service and follow up calls with clients

Skills Required
Essential

      • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular, Word & Excel
      • Ability to undertake training and become competent in the use of other platforms including CRM
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills
      • Good organisational skills, including ability to prioritise workload
      • Good typing and word processing skills
      • Good standard of written and verbal communication
      • Proven ability to work under pressure
